Reunion with Miss O

Spotted: Miss B with Miss O in Brooklyn.

Miss B met up with Miss O who came from out of town yesterday for a quick running session around Prospect Park at 9:30 am. The heat wasn't that bad yet so after running for a bit, Miss B and Miss O decided to just yap about Miss O's plans while walking around the park. The park is very popular with locals who live nearby for running and biking as it is much less touristy compared to Central Park. In addition, the area has lots of cafes and restaurants that are popular online. However, they decided to opt for the new milk tea brand ? Tea, where the drama between the NYC branches and Molly's headquarters in China have been spreading like wildfire on social media platforms. Miss B updated Miss O on all the drama that has been occurring and the changes made to the drinks appearance as well as the special 20% off discount that's ongoing.

Although unfortunately when they arrived the store hasn't opened yet, so Miss B brought Miss O to her favorite breakfast place: King's Kitchen for some cantonese cuisine. Miss O was so surprise that an order consisting of rice rolls, meat and rice, and wonton noodles only costed $29. For Miss B that is not an outrageously good deal, but maybe Chinese food is more expensive in the midwest since there is less supply of Asian food? The two of them yapped nonstop for over an hour before heading over to grab their drinks.

The line for the drinks took over 20 minutes, so the two decided to go to Teso—a cute store that sells Asian skincare, makeup, and other acessories imported from abroad—before heading back to grab their drinks. Miss B almost forgot to snap some pictures with her digicam. Since Miss O had a few hours to spare, Miss B hosted at her house for a few hours and walked around the neighborhood with Miss O before saying farewell to her at the train station.

Honestly, Miss O is someone Miss B can hang out with the entire day and would feel time has passed by too quickly. Just from this day alone, Miss B had so much fun that it's a reminder of how hard it is to now hangout with friends from college, and be more appreciative that both of them made an equal amount of effort to keep the friendship ongoing despite living in two different states now. Looking forward to their next reunion!
