House Upgrade
Spotted: Miss B's whole family helping out the house today.
Today Miss B's whole family was up bright and early to prepare for a big task today: a new fridge was arriving. Miss B woke up around noon and the preparation for the new fridge space in the living room has been prepared already. Miss B waltzes into the living room with no worries, with a milk tea and dim sum in hand. The old fridge was already cleared except for the freezer (although that was deemed useless anyways since the workers couldn't take our old fridge due to company policies). The workers arrived around 2:30 pm, and the entire family was hard at work unwrapping everything at once. Lots of arguments were ensured over the placement of the shelves, but overall the entire family was very productive and happy over the new fridge.
Afterwards, Miss B and her dad went to the garage to go over the timeline to clear out the disposables in the next few weeks. Plus, the bike was pumped back into shape which is great since Miss B has been itching to ride the bike alongside the harbour. To prepare for dinner and to cure Miss B's incessant request to go to the Costco in NJ, everyone except for Miss B's sister left to go to Costco in Brooklyn (god always so many people there) to buy items for dinner. Miss B was pretty excited to find out Costco now sold Tonkotsu ramen broth (which has had great reception according to Reddit).
The chair Miss B ordered for her father arrived right before they left for Costco, so as soon as she arrived him, after bringing all the Costco items into the house she and her mom got right to work to unwrap the package. However, right at the last step of putting the chair on the stool structure...the screws were missing. Miss B called the company right away and settled on a $50 refund so she could buy the screws herself (a little annoyed it would take another 2 days to finish building it since it's been 2+ months already but money is money).
Everyone was tired after that so the rest of the night was chill; dinner was fish soup and steak. Miss B washed her hair for the first time since the horrible hair salon and can confidently say the hair stylist was just lacking in skills after seeing the final version post-air-dry. Netflix was fixed by Miss B the previous day so the whole family watched some shows today:
Miss B finished the kdrama herself until 3 am, and it was good but not as good as the beginning of the show. The show's gradual ending was giving off W: Two Worlds Apart where the show just kind of fell apart into a mess because it seemed like the script writers didn't know how to end it on a strong note after the creative beginning. While watching the show Miss B was scrolling on 小红书 and finding some inspos for her website. The neocities thing just isn't going to work (too much work) so now the attention is back on upgrading this blog.
These quotes literally encapsulate Miss B's recent obsession with the chinese drama/novel Never Ending Summer.
