End of Heatwave
Spotted: Miss B spotted busy at home with phone calls and home tasks.
New York City had an intense rainstorm last night. Lightning and intense wind was felt throughout the night, and Miss B woke up freezing with the AC still on from the previous night. Miss B felt intense pain from her stomach since waking up, so she remained in bed for awhile before getting up for her classic avocado toast. Miss B's lower left wisdom tooth has been irritating her cheek since a few days ago, so she made up her mind to finally tackle on all the health appointments and insurance problems she has been delaying. Miss B first called the insurance companies (made a total of 4 calls) before finally the last call resolved that it was the fault of her current insurance company (the first call to this place the person on the other side did not help out at all and just sent Miss B over to the actual state insurance). Miss B just has to wait now before the update goes through. Afterwards, Miss B focus on getting her appointments in order. Miss B found an outstanding orthodontist in her area because none of the ones referred to her by her other doctors had great reviews. However, this orthodontist doesn't accept any insurance, so Miss B decided to first get her general cleaning and X-Ray done at her usual routine place before sending the X-Ray over so the orthodontist consultation is more cost-efficient. Miss B will have a busy health appointments week if you add in the dermatology clinic and the ophthalmology clinic visit as well.
In the late afternoon, Miss B focused more on resting because her stomach issues were acting up again. Then, Miss B decided to finally download the viral 222 app and make an account. Miss B sent some invites to different friends, and is interested in going to a few the next few weeks. Highly recommend it as the events seem to be catered to a variety of different demographics: cocktail bar night, picnic date, pickle ball, brunch, or museum dates.
At night, Miss B made her special japanese dashi stir-fried udon with pork belly and shiitake mushrooms plus sliced some fresh salmon for dinner. Highly recommend everyone try out the Woks of Life recipes as they get very creative with their fusion dishes, but also have some very authentic Asian dishes.
